Now as for my bunion the doc said I didn’t need a waiver lol so he cleared me from it all the fuss all year since 2016 just to be cleared in like 5 min lmao he said it looked like a normal foot and I guess since I played sports all my life ( it’s listed in my file ) I guess it helped out so my recruiter and I were surprised it got cleared that quick but hey man we ain’t gonna question it so I just need the astigmastism waiver oh and my asthma waiver since the age I listed is also to close for comfort ( 12-13 years old since I last used my inhaler ) but I already took two pft tests and passed both the doc even said I scored higher than they predicted lol all in all meps was a positive outcome my recruiter said I should be able to swear in before the 20th of this month

Sounds good! Let us know re swearing in, when it happens, right here on this same thread. Then we can bill you for all the good advice we gave. It will come out of your first paycheck when in the Corps. LOL

Just rambling here, still waiting to get approved but I wanted to know some info on the admin life in the Marine Corps aside from the teasings they get lol I scored a 54 on my asvab GT score of 101, MM= 88, EL=94, and CL=108 assuming everything goes well I’ve had more than a year to decide on what I’ve wanted to do but I still don’t, wanted to go combat engineer but didn’t qualify, might be jumping the gun here lol

Based on your CL score, you qualify for:
0111, 0161, 3043, 3051, 3052, 3432, 6042, 6046, 6672, and 7041.
The big question is what is available if you get the astigmatism waiver.

If your astigmatism is worse than +8 or -8, I don't see you getting in at all.

I don’t know how those charts work lol but my vision is 20/20 with glasses and the doc who evaluated me said I’d be fine with the waiver

Congrats on that, keep us post as to how things are going for you, if you make it through Recruit training, then be sure to let us know and then you will be able tp PM an admin to have your status changed from Marine Friend to Marine, asuming of course you graduate Recruit training, either way keep us posted.
