Just playing memory lane for Cherry Point on google earth

Just playing on google earth.

Futenma and MCRDSD and Niland CA all look the same. So does the Ansbach bases in Germany (guard call up).

Cherry Point questions for anyone in the know:

1. The crew huts at MASS-1. They sucked and were old as dirt when I was there. When did they tear them down? Where do the enlisted 7242s hang out now? Where do they hide the 7208s away from the enlisted at now?

2. The old H-style unit barracks. Also old as dirt when I was there. When did they finally tear them down? Do they try to put units together on floors in the new barracks?

I have no idea when they tore them down but we have a trailer we work out of now and the officers have their own office inside there.

No idea but we have Marines everywhere and every floor in the barracks.
