Any admin Marines? Question about an allotment

I setup an allotment in August. It will take out half the money on Sept 15 and Oct 1 and on Oct 1 deposit the full amount into my allotment account.

So, I cannot cancel this alotment until Oct 1 unless I go to IPAC (I don't feel like it. Too many girls and they're too motivated for me)

My question. October 1st I will get the allotment pay.

If I cancel on October 1st, will the October 15th/November 1st still be affected by the allotment? Or will it be November 1st that I'll get the Allotment pay, and on November 15th my pay will be back to normal?

I've noticed on Mypay it always says "This action will be effective (insert following month here)."
