    Humping in boot and ITB

I am just wondering how much I will have to hump on a daily basis in boot camp. Also, I am wondering how far the humps will be, and how much longer they will get throughout recruit training. I would also like to know how much humping will be done at ITB. Thanks.

You might want to try finding that answer on your own. Try doing things on your own for yourself, if you need help the Marines here will be happy to help, but simple questions like this are easy to find the answers to. If you searched and are still stumped, I'm sure an infantry Marine will be able to give you some insight.

The only time you will hump durring boot is in 2nd phase. In boot camp the shortest hike was 3 miles and the longest was durring the crucible. At ITB the longest hump you will do is a 20K.

Like the Cpl said, it's 3, 5, and 8 in 2nd phase then about 10 for the crucible.

At ITB it's 3, 6, 9, 12. The hikes at ITB were much harder than at Boot Camp, despite the differences in length. Try humping the .50 cal on the 20k '31 love, Oorah.

I use to love that when you guys would drop back and make the 11's (who grabbed your crew serves and ran them to the front) look like rock stars

I have no doubt that happened (in fact, echo company behind us in the training schedule reportedly fell out with the 240s and the mortar men had to grab em), but no one in Alpha Company IMGC had any problems. On the 20k, we had 4 '31s carry Ma Deuce the whole way. Pretty moto ****e.

Atleast there was no 4'11 women to slow them down to like 1 mile an hour.
