I'm a Retired Alabama State Trooper. One evening I was writing a guy a Speeding Ticket and he looked at my hair cut and sais, Bet yoiu were a Marine. I said Yep sure was and in my Heart I still am. He said, I was a Sea Bee. I asked him if nhe knew what a Sea Bee really was . He said sure but what's your definition. I told him a Sea Bee was a guy who wanted to be a marine but couldn't hack Paris Island. He then ask me if I knew what a Marine was. I sadi Yeah but what's your definition. He said a Marine was guy who wanted to be a Sea Bee could didn't have enough sense to read Blue Prints. I tore the ticket up and we went for coffee. True Story.. Semper Fi

As a 1371 we had units of Seabees come to Camp Pendelton for us to give classes on patrolling, camoflage, live firing and **** like that. It was pretty fun.
