GySgt Robert Gilbert 3/16/1982-3/16/2010
At 27 years of age, Robert Gilbert (who became one of three of the Marine's youngest sergeants when he was promoted at age 20- years later to become the youngest ever promoted to gunnery sergeant) was injured in Afghanistan on Monday March 8, 2010. He suffered severe injuries to his head.
