My goal has always been a 300 PFT. I made that goal before I even was able to enlist. So now my goal is just to add more pull-ups and crunches and decrease my run times. Kinda like adding cushion to everything just-in-case I have a bad day.

Underoathed, you already have a huge cushion haha

17:58 3 mile is not a coushin at all. Still kicks the crap out of my run time though!

Pull ups - 25 (already kill em)
    Sit ups - 100 (easy)
    1.5 miles - 10:30 (at 11:15...crap)

    I need to start running...

Just came home from an IST !

    Previous IST
    Pull ups: 13
    Crunches: 101
    Run: 13:12

    Today's IST
    Pull ups: 15
    Crunches: 114
    Run: 12:15

I'm pretty happy with my scores today ;] I was hoping for 17+ pull ups...eh

Today's IST (my first official one) was:

    Pull ups: 16
    Crunches: 72
    Run: 11:01

I would have done better on the crunches if I hadn't done 50 sit ups before my recruiter told me to stop coming up so high. That's not an excuse, just me being stupid.

My goal is to be able to do a 225 PFT two weeks before I ship out. If I had to put it in terms of an IST I would say:

    Pull ups: 20+
    Crunches: 100+
    Run: 9:30 or better

Good for your first official IST. Since you just DEP'ed in, you got plenty of time to improve.

    Current IST / Goal IST
    1.5 Mile - 11:00 / 9:30
    Crunches - 61 / 120
    Pull-ups - 7 / 20

I have about 8 months to get ready, and I'm not letting any time go by!

Mentally, I want to have all general orders completely memorized in about 2 weeks. After that I won't have any other things to really memorize because I already have the rank structure down and other basic info.

Not quite, I only have 'til February 8th. I'm going to go back and be an assistant coach with my old high school wrestling team over the holidays; it's the best conditioning I know (the drop out rate for our team in the 1st month every season was around 50% every year).

I'll also be running ISTs and PFTs with a friend who's trying to start the PLC before he leaves college. Between those two I'm hoping to have at least a 225 PFT before I ship. Shooting for the 300 by the end of boot.

    General Orders
    Rank Structures
    Leadership Traits
    Principles
    Core Values (easy)

I wouldn't be totally surprised if you got Leadership traits, core values, and the ranks down...but how about the Principles?
