...86, of Elgin, passed away Monday. He was born May 25, 1916, in Chicago, IL, and was the son of the late Fredrick and Mary, nee Milligan, Workman. He was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Loving husband to Jean, nee Seneschall, of Elgin; fond father to Carol (Fredrick) and Glenn J. Workman; dear grandfather of four; many great-grandchildren; brother to Evelyn (Marvin) Schillig and Florence Schacht. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2002, at the Laird Funeral Home, Elgin. Burial will be in South Elgin Cemetery. For information 847-741-8800 . Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services in the funeral home.
