Fog of War
Not since the Spanish-American War, and perhaps never in U.S. history, has the United States waged such a relentlessly successful military campaign as the 42-day juggernaut that was the 1991 Persian Gulf War. Desert Storm Victory?
Textbook-wise Desert Storm was great success. If it were a chess game we would have the king in checkmate without losing any of our pieces. One final move in chess is the losing player lays the king over. This is not a chess game unfortunately. This bastard is in checkmate, but he is still actively operating and killing people. This guy needs to be killed. We've been back already and we're about to go back again. Why weren't we allowed to do our job right in the first place? We were right there.
