Can a reservist 0311 be assigned to a NON Infantry Unit?

Actually I got 2 questions. One is the title, the second is:
Can a 0311 be assigned to an H&S company in a Infantry unit?

Of course (to answer your second question). There are many reasons an 03** would be in H&S company, our STA PLT is in H&S (many of them are 0311's). But other then that they would either be the BN Police Sgt, Company clerk, or S-3 clerk... But that also isn't really a request thing, form what I remember most of them where there for medical (physical/mental) reasons, ie couldn't do their job in the line company.

also if the only Reserve unit in your area is a non Infantry unit you could be assigned to it

If its permanent you would be sent to school again because 0311 great at killing **** useless anywhere else maybe except driving trucks or pencil pushing
