Boot Camp and then USNA?

I will be a Marine, but I somehow feel like a sell out to put on a Navy uniform for four years. Here is my question- is it possible to go to a boot camp-enlist as it were and then go to USNA. If I could just do that I think wearing whities would at least be tolerable. Thanks for your advice.

Why would going to a college for the Navy AND the Marine Corps... make you a sellout?

Of all the branches, the Navy is the least desirable to me. If I could at least be a Marine now and then go to the academy then I believe I would be okay-I dunno.

2) Look at my profile
3) Get it in your head that the Marine Corps is part of the Naval Service (as in Dept of the Navy?). The Naval Academy produces officers for both the Marine Corps and the Navy.

If you have some sort of stigma against the Navy, perhaps you should go Air Force?
