my marine is getting deployed

so, i am an absolute wreck. My boyfriend and i have been dating for one year and 3 months. He is in camp pendleton, and i just recieved word that instead of coming home for good in 6 days, he is getting deployed for 6 months to 1 year. We started dating 1 month before he was sent to bootcamp and here we are still going strong. However, hearing the news that he is getting deployed to Africa just breaks my heart. I haven't slept in a week because all i can think about is him getting deployed. I know he needs support and love and i told him i would support him in whatever he does no matter what... but what about me? what about my support...?

Deployed to Africa, what a shame. Must be on Embasy Dutie. At least there all he has to do is watch out for the spears and zoo animals. As far as your support, looks like you will have to live with it.
