I commanded E 2/1 from February to July, 1968. We were at ConThien when I came up after Hue and then went off on Pegasus at the end of March, 1968.

Charlie Squad of which Platoon?
All three platoons had three squads, with guns and rockets attached. Which platoon were you in and who was your Lt?

ConThien
Capt. Eagen,
I was with Echo 2 Charlie fron Dec 67 to March 68 and was hit 2 times at Con Thien and the last time in the hills somewhere around Khe Sahn. I was pointman during that time. Spent the next 8 months in two Naval Hospitals Yokuska Japan and Chelsea Naval in MA. Was retired from the Marines 1970. Glad to see you made it home. I don't remember who our Lt was but Sgt Gordon I remember I heard he was hit just after me. My life has been pretty good and for the last 7 years after moving from my home State of NH I live in Florida. I have been very active in Vet Organizations and for the year 2005-2006 was the Florida State Commander for the Military Order of the Purple Heart. I'm now the VFW District 13 Commander. Keep in touch and again glad to see you are OK.
