Diamond Rio Song
In March, 2005, this song was performed at a Diamond Rio concert. They received an immediate standing ovation, and continue to do so every time they perform it! Sadly, major radio stations wouldn't play it because it was considered politically incorrect. Consequently, the song was never released to the public. If this song speaks to your heart, share it with friends and loved ones. Then let us cease being the silent majority and join together -- not as a particular political party, but as Americans!

Sunshine,
I haven't heard Diamond Rio perform in quite a while. I don't see anything that upsets me. What is wrong with it...????

Sgt., I Did Not Think The Song Sucked, But You Are Entitled To Your Own Opinion, That Is Why You Spent Your Time In The Sand Box, But I Think We As Marines Can Handle A Disagreement A Little Better Than Getting In To A Kindergarten Cat Fight, That Is Said For Everyone, Not Just You... Quoted from the Snopes website:
"Listeners apparently didn't find the Diamond Rio song distinctive or appealing enough to make it stand out from the crowd and prompt additional requests for airplay, so — like a lot of other music — it quietly faded off of radio playlists without achieving even minor hit status."
All I was trying to say that the reason why the song didn't garner enough attention was cause myself and apparently the rest of the radio listening world didn't think the song was good enough. If everyone liked it, it would have been on "heavy rotation" at the radio stations.

SgtOfMarines,
With all the discussion I noted that your profile is still not completed. I don't think the fact that you "know the owner of the site" excludes you from letting people know who you are.
Thanks and SEMPER FI,

And I will leave it at that.
As a side note, you can pretty much find out all about me by looking at my old posts. I have been here since 2002. I just don't post here that often anymore.
