Marine Air Group 56

Looking for information on MAG 56 from 1967 to 1969 at LTA Santa Anna, Calif. I was with MAG 56 from Jan. 1967 until Jan. 1968 and then HMM 163 until Jan. 1969. This is what I remember:
HMM 364 (46s), HMH-462 (53s), VMO 6 ("huey gunships") and HMM 163 (46s) but it seem that there was one or two more squadrons. I thought that we had three CH-46 squadrons (HMM 364 & HMM 163 & ???), two CH-53 squadron (HMH 462 & HMH 463 ???) and VMO6 station at Camp Pendleton.

Can't do you much good, was at LTA MCAS (H) Santa Ana 1972
One squadron you did not list was HMM 161 CH 46

By the way that base is being removed, literally, one of the hangers is gonna be demo'ed, the other will remain as museum. land is being developed for housing and businesses...went there sept 27, 2007 and took photos , so got them and the memories

get more answers... I was ther in 1968,June....til Nov,,1969.. You may be thinking HMMT-301, HMHT-301,HMMT-302..These were 34's/46's/53's...
1968 ,I was at the Engine Shop H&MS-56,worked on R-1820's..
