LitBureau will sponsor this event as honored guest and past Marine ‘Racehorse’ Haynes presents officers of the Marine Corps with a Toys for Tots donation on behalf of all paralegals.

“A couple of years ago, at a Toy for Tots event I was privileged to be seated at a table with ‘Racehorse’ Haynes. His passion about the Marines, Toys for Tots and his charming stories made the event unforgettable. Mr. Haynes is one of the most intriguing people I have ever met. Expect this year’s event to be a major success and lots of fun,” says Patricia Griggs-Ellis of Fulbright & Jaworski / HMPA board.

LitBureau (www.litbureau.com) is a portal for litigation professionals with free Internet-based tools to help legal professionals locate, procure and manage the outsourcing of litigation services on-line. Industry providers can join LitBureau at no charge and be introduced to buyers seeking their services. LitBureau donates a portion of the transaction fee to the buyer's choice of non profit groups registered in the LitBureau Affiliates Program.

“LitBureau Affiliates are charities and professional organizations that are near and dear to our users. During the holiday season we are suggesting that Toys for Tots be the 'project benefactor' but, that is really the user’s choice,” Tony Alaniz president and CEO of Litbureau.com

Mr. Alaniz continues, “All of our affiliates are good causes and we hope each of them receive benefit through LitBureau. As a whole, the paralegal profession procures thousands of projects daily and there is tremendous power in that. Our affiliate program is designed to help paralegals harness that collective power and turn it into good work as they see fit.”

More about Toys for Tots:
Toys for Tots was founded in 1947 by Major Bill Hendricks in Las Angeles to collect toys for the poor and make the Christmas wishes of many deserving children come true. The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders. 2005 marks the 57th consecutive year in which Toys for Tots looks after needy children at Christmas. Last year the Marines set an all time record by distributing more than 19 million toys to 7.5 million needy children valued at over 40 million dollars. This year in addition to Toys for Tots the marines will devote a significant effort to looking after children who are victims of Hurricane Katrina as well as any victims that Hurricane Rita may leave in her wake. The Foundation pursues a range of fund raising projects each year. Projects include national corporate sponsors, a direct mail campaign, the Combined Federal Campaign, special events such as golf tournaments; and special projects such as affinity cards and internet donations. The Foundation asks individual Americans and corporations to check our website and their mailboxes for our appeals for support throughout November and December.
