Chosin Reservoir
Good Website
The fighting at the Chosin Reservoir was the most violent small unit fighting in the history of American warfare. No other operation in the American book of war quite compares with the show [the battle of the Chosin Reservoir] by the First Marine Division [and attached U.S. Army and British Royal Marines].

I was raised by a Chosin Marine...I'll never be the man my Ol' Man is. The real history of that event makes it hard to comprehend what those Marines (and Soldiers) went through. Thinking about my Dad made me proud to have the opportunity to wear the uniform and I'll be, BY GOD, buried in it !
