Moral Waivers?
Hi, I am wondering about moral waivers in 2018. Generally, if they are being approved or denied more these days.
I am trying to to join the Corps with a DUI charge (no conviction).
I am just trying to figure out if DUI waivers have a good chance of being approved or not.
Anyone had any success with this topic?
Thanks.

Why do you have a DUI charge and no conviction? Charges reduced, dismissed, what?

I had court supervision which, if completed successfully, results in a dismissal.

So, you're still under court supervision? If so, a recruiter won't (can't) submit a waiver request until the supervision is successfully completed and the charges officially dismissed.
After that, the only way to find out if you have a chance with a waiver is to talk with a recruiter.

No, this was back in 2013. Everything is paid and I’m not under supervision anymore. I was just wondering if it’s hard to get a waiver for a DUI these days.

Take all your paperwork on the case and go see a recruiter. They're the only people with a reasonable guess on whether you can get a morality waiver. Seeing as the case is five years old, you might have a chance.
