Terminology question for Iraq/Afghan Veterans/Current
Hi all,
I am writing a script about veteran stories and have some trouble figuring out some terminology of the correct time period, so I decided to come here to ask for the real deal. I might be updating this post when I encounter a new question, if you guys can answer them for me that will be really great.
So in my knowledge the Marines collaborated with the Brits in various situations in Iraq and Afghan, I am wondering do you guys have slang terms for the British soldiers?
Many thanks

Royal Marines in EOD were known as bootnecks and SAS were often called Desmonds, Corporals I've heard called fullscrews. Paratroopers were often called lawndarts.
