Sgt. Major "Hank" Bean
Sgt. Major Bean was my dad's best buddy in the Corps, both serving in the Pacific arena during WW II. Bean also served in Vietnam, making a lifetime career of the Marines. He passed away, I believe, in the early to mid 1980s.
I was recently contacted by a marine who served as his driver in Nam and asked if I knew where Sgt. Major Bean was interred. I told him I'd try to find out.
Any assistance or direction on how I can find this out would be greatly appreciated. I believe he lived in San Diego and left a widow, Ruth, who likely has passed on as well.
Thanks in advance,
J.
