Mongoose charges twice the going rate, that includes a side trip to Cancun, though.

It's no secret that Mongoose can command such high rates, after all he does all his bookings through me. For those that are not aware, my Marine Corps Gigalo service is 2nd to none. The greatest secret to our success is that we employ only battle tested Marines so that any mother that wants to set up her daughter can do so with total confidence as we produce results.

Remember our slogan. When a Marine says spread them, those ain't just words.

Russ, I think "producing results" is exactly what the "customers" worry about.

might I suggest that you contact the School of Infantry Sgt. Major regarding this request. I also strongly "suggest" that you get with your daughter and have her "convince" a number of her friends to join in and make it a "group affair", that way, there would be 10 or 12 young Marines, right out of boot camp and a couple of weeks into the SOI. Since the "arrangements" would be made through their Sgt. Major, you can be assured that they will be on their best behavior. I also suggest that the PARENTS of all of the girls involved get together and make arrangements to provide "housing" for those young Marines, as they will not exactly be "flush" with funds......

I make these suggestions because in 1966, while completing what was then called ITR, I was one of 19 young Marines selected by my unit Sgt. Major as "escorts" for 19 young ladies that were graduating from the Laguna Beach High School. All arrangements were made by the Sgt. Major, the girl's parents, and the school, which provided transportation for us from the base to the prom, and returned us to the base the next day. Quarters were provided by the families, in their homes. To make a long story short, 19 young Marines that were away from home for the first time in their lives made friends with people that have lasted a LIFETIME.... I am glad to see that today, in this age and time, that the kinds of folks that made things "just a little more bearable" for me when I was a newly minted Marine still exist, and I encourage you to work with the Corps to make this happen....

    DELETE...double post...

Chuck, Josey, please, read my post above.... the idea isn't new, and not really stupid. In OUR day, there was no internet.... today it is a logical place to start... as long as the arrangements are made THROUGH THE CORPS, and the entire affair is a GROUP AFFAIR, there should be no problems, and those young men just might make some lifelong friends. Makes me wonder if Mr. Benevento was not one of the 19 "snowmen" as we were called by our buddies in ITR, since I did not personally know ALL of the 19.....

OldTop: Great post. We used to call it the People to People program. Great for community relations. Especially these days.

It is indeed a great post, number 20---I didn't know any of that. Thanks for posting.

This thread is useless without a pic of the young lady in question. I need to know what I'm volunteering for.

    Top,
This is what the OP posted:
"My daughter is graduating May 23, 2015 in Front Royal, Virginia. Are there any young, handsome, available Marines willing to be my daughter's escort that day?"

Doing what you suggested makes sense, but coming onto a Marine site and asking like she did is just plain silly.

A much safer way to do it would have been to contact a USMC unit directly, rather than, as Phantom says, post it on the Internet. The dangerousness of it would have been avoided. But this is what happens, and we see once again that people think after they act, instead of before.

Bloop, are you saying that Billy is a perv? I didn't know that. Are you sure?
