Trying to switch to active duty

I am an E-3 0341 in the USMCR, I have a first class PFT, CFT, and expert rifle score. I really want to switch from the reserve to active duty and I was wondering what the process is to go about doing so and how long it normally takes? I know my chances are slim because of the draw down but it's worth a shot because I miss the active duty lifestyle and I'm desperate to go back.
