My son is at MEPS at Ft. Jackson right now!

I'm so proud of my son! He's at MEPS now and will finish his senior year of high school and then go to Parris Island. I'm unfamiliar with the correct terminology so forgive me if I say the wrong thing. I am so proud that he wants to be a Marine! His father and grandfather were US Army, but Nick (my son) jokes that he's smarter than that! LOL

Any advice or words of encouragement will be appreciated.

Congratulations to your son! I`m not a Marine (yet...still a few more years) but I know how tough boot camp will be (I don`t know the whole story of it, of course ) but your son will need all the letters he can get while in boot camp, so be sure to write him a lot!
