    I would like to hear from anyone who was in Platoon #277, Parris Island during August, 1953. I believe I have the platoon number right, if not, I arrived at Parris Island on August 10, 1953. Platoon Sgt. was Sgt. Underwood. We had a professional boxer in our platoon named Gordon; Gordon's close buddy was Willie Williams. Does this info ring a bell for anyone? Please respond.I would also like to hear from another Marine from our platoon named Vince Coughlin.
