Drifter....I just got out of rehab. Had to have some orthopedic surgery, combat related. Shrink, upped my dosages, of anti-depressants....thank goodness! Msgt, I would like to thank you for posting this article about a friend of mine from the Island. I last saw 1st Sgt Mercardante as a Sergeant, he was just leaving brig duty as a section leader to report for cross-country chaser duty. I had to learn of his final orders to station from a current 1st Lt.Marine a few days afterward. 1st Sgt Mercardante had a strong influence on my decision to get my head out of my ass and continue on to NCO status. Semper Fi.

A couple years too late on the electrocution thing. Always thought hajji wires would get me before the muj. Had a few "hair raising" experiences.. (I thought it was funny...)

Ellie: Has there ever been a daily or weekly crossword added to the arcade board or has anyone ever thought to perhaps add one. Maybe the NY Times crossword for example?

Ma'am I'm pretty sure it was you who put out Lcpl Trimarchi's address. I got a second letter out and I gave it to someone else on here who was having troubles getting stuff to Marines overseas. I am going to go to the local market tomorrow that is family owned and has a son deployed with the Navy and see if they won't send him a package. Thanks
