I believe there is only one, but this is just the information I have found when using Google. Its in Newport, RI. 8 weeks long I think.
As custom, any Marines or other poolees that know, correct me if I'm wrong.
Good choice of MOS, IMHO.

Are you SURE you're getting the Legal Service Specialist MOS (4421)? I can't tell you how many Marines thought they were getting this and ended up in the Admin field instead (0151/0121/0161). Problem is they all fall under the CB (?) contract.
As for where the MOS School is located, I've heard both Rhode Island and Camp Johnson. Not sure if it's only one of these, or both, or even neither.

I'm yet to pick out my job, just entered the DEP on the 7th. Right now, I'm open contract, but my recruiter said it shouln't be a problem with availablitly and my ASVAB score, and I should know for sure soon. I wanted infantry but there doesn't seem to be any opening there.

Cpl., excuse my dumb self from asking this question lol, but would legal admin be considered legal services 4421 or just Admin 0151, 0161, and 0121

Legal Admin encompasses both the 44 MOSes and the 01 MOSes. There are more 01's needed, but it seems like every poolee who wants to go into that field watches A Few Good Men or an episode of JAG and think they can be some hot-shot lawyer by going into Legal Admin. It don't work that way.
My advice to OhioGuy, if you want Infantry then keep bugging them until you get it. If it's not available right now, best to wait. I know you're proably eager to ship off to boot, but I can't tell you how many Marines I knew who hated life because they had a desk job and would rather be out getting some. That included me a lot of times.

Well, first of all, sir... I've never seen a Few Good Men, or JAG, and I know that I can't be a hot shot lawyer with a legal MOS. That being said, I have a 26 on my ACT, and was planning on going to law school after completing a four year degree. I decided instead of coming out so deep in debt, I would join the Marine Corps, since it is something I've always wanted to do anyway.
As for infantry, I want it, but if I'll have to wait 'till like August to get it, not doing it. I figure if they need me in Afghanistan, I'll be going regardless. Every Marine a rifleman, right? But I really don't have a problem with the legal/clerical job, I'll know more tommorow when I talk to my recruiter. Thanks for the help.

Well, that's my MOS and i've watched A Few GOod Men, but i don't wanna be in JAG (though i wouldn't mind) i really wanna be a fighter pilot, but thanks for the info Cpl. do you think if i ask my recruiter what number is my MOS she will be able to give it to me?

Hell yeah. Everybody give this hot shot little **** a round of applause! KILL! Brains and a quick tongue! FvCK YEAH! YOU ARE MY HERO DUDE!
Every Marine a rifleman has become a joke and I dare you to prove otherwise. There are non-infantry brothers and (sisters maybe?) gettin' some but that doesn't mean you will. You're not going to get your cake and eat it too. Hell you probably won't even get your cake.
MAN I WISH I WAS AS COOL AS YOU.

Hey OhioGuy,let us know how you did with the recruiter.......

PaidinBlood, I didn't mean you any disrespect, and I certainly wasn't trying to be cool. When I talked to my recruiter and he asked me what I was interested in, I told him infantry and asked if he thought it would be hard to get. He said yes. My ship date is 20090309, but I could be leaving the 26th of this month if a guy in front of me can't do his two pull-ups. I want to go as quick as possible, and legal services was my second pick anyways and he said that there would likely be an opening there. Tommorow is the day I call him for the weekly check-in, and I should know more then.
Again, I'm sorry if I came across as being arrogant, after reading my last post I realize it could have been worded differently to say the least. A year ago, I never thought I'd be about to head to boot camp, but life has a way of humbling us when we need it. I needed it, and now I wouldn't have it any other way. The "Every Marine a Rifleman" thing I just posted because I figured if they need me to go overseas, they'll let me know and I won't have a say in it. Hopefully there will be an opening for something that is 03xx, but the way my recruiter talked, it's not looking good.

Roger. Got you man. Good luck, but don't settle. A few months seems like an eternity now, but years wasted will be enough to make you kill yourself later.
