INFO ABOUT DOCTORS AND GUNS
Information: Physicians... a. The number of physicians in the US is approximately 700,000; b. Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000; c. Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171 [statistics courtesy of US Dept. of Health & Human Services] Now think about this: Guns... a. The number of gun owners in the US is 80,000,000; b. The number of accidental gun deaths per year [all age groups] is 1,500; c. The number of accidental deaths per gun owners is 0.000181. Statistically, Doctors are approximately 900 times more dangerous than gun owners. Remember, "Guns don't kill people, doctors do". FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN BUT, ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR. Please alert your friends to this alarming threat. Out of concern for the public at large, I have withheld the statistics on lawyers for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention.

M-9 please. An M-16 is a bit unwieldly to have up in the flight station.
If I'm in a position where I'm using it, the **** has hit the fan already, though...

I carried the M14 with selector switch for several months prior to be issued the M16 (in Vietnam). I prefer the M14.

Another Oldie but Goodie
Due to the warm reception for the BAR, I'm adding another photo from our monthly rock 'n roll shoot. This Thompson was purchased in 1967 for a whopping $125.00.

Thank you, Sir! May we have another! $125 was worth every dime. I think only a whale could might still stand after a 10 round burst from a 45 Thompson.
