Just a quick ASVAB question for any marine out there!

hello, marines out there. just a quick question is the ASVAB test difficult?i heard that people can actually be rejected from joining the military depending on the score from the ASVAB? so guys should i be worried about this test? i been studying every night for about 2 hours.
should i spend more time studying? what do you guys suggest i do?

For me the asvab way easy I didn't study at all and i scored an 80, if you are good at math then you should have no problem, most of it is common sense. If you aren't good with math then you need to work on that. Also your recruiter should have given you a practice test at the office. What you score there will be a good indication of what you should score on the actual test.

    Future...
Go to a decent library and you can find a study guide for the ASVAB or you can go to a decent book store and buy one or buy a HS GED study guide. Go to www.military.com/asvab and take the 3 LONG practice tests there. Review your answers and see where you are weak. Study the books and when you can take the practice tests and do really well, you are ready to take the test and do well.

Remember the ASVAB is based on 10th grade information so it should not be hard to pull that information back up.

If you want to be a Marine and you want to select a decent job...put the time and effort into it.

    Good luck.

All that coombyyah they gave you in school .
the soccer league with no scores,
    that everybody gets a trophy...

Doesn't cut it in real life.

Guys , you hung out with, or hang out with now.

"MARINE" may be a title that is beyond your
    ability to attain ..

It is possible to fail the ASVAB test. Keep studying and taking practice tests till you feel comfortable enough to take the real one at MEPS.

You are not texting your buds here. When you post on this forum, use proper punctuation like m14ed is pointing out (if you would take the time to read them, you would see it is one of the rules of this website). We don't mind trying to answer your questions but as you can see, there is a right way and a wrong way to go about asking them here...you need to do it the right way every time if you want our help.

    Good luck.
