    immigrant Marines question

    my passport expires exactly at start of boot camp at april should i get a new one or do they not check it? im filipino if that helps. i just dont want to waste money and drive to chicago just to get it renewed on something i wont need since ill earn citizenship after a year. asked the recruiter and he's still figuring it out . not that worried since i have time

    If you have a Green Card, you don't need it. Apply for a US passport after boot camp or after you become a US citizen.
