I was a Drill Instructor at MCRD San Diego, CA.

I was a Drill Instructor at Parris Island from 1967-1970
Was with the 1st RTR for 2 yrs and the last yr was with
Special Training Branch {Fat Bodies & String Beans} It
was a hard time on the Field then, large Plt's and short
Training. Graduate one Plt and walk off the Drill Field and
pick-up another Plt. Most of these recruits were Draftees.
They didn't want to be there and fought you all the way.
