    The article doesn't say, but the implication was that those 300 firearms were not in a secured location. Otherwise how were the police able to take them and count them? I would hope that a person who collects that many firearms is smart enough, and rich enough, to have suitable safes to lock them in like my friend was.

    I guess this guy was not either/or one of the above.

    You would have thought he would have secured his weopons a little better than that as he had that meany but that is his to do. As for the police taking them for safe keeping ya it is done and I have done it myself. As for full-Auto weopons yes you can own them all you need is an FFL Auto Weopons permit then you can collect them at will each weopon would be registered just all weopons it would just an auto. Know of a bunch of poeple who do so as collectors some because they just like shooting up a lot of ammo at one time. Me I do not now nor will I ever have all the weopons I want or wish for.
