    Switching

Hey Marines, I'm sorry if this question has already been answered which I'm pretty sure it hasn't..but anyways I was wondering if it's possible to switch recruiting stations and still have the same ship date or a sooner ship date?

Thanks for your time and service,
    Meagan

Your best bet would be to talk to your recruiter.

I would say "Unlikely". But you'll have to check with them. First time I've seen this one.

You will recieve a new date. I encountered this when I was home on some RA. The kid ended up moving to Virginia and we contacted the recruiter down there. he moved with a new shipping date.

And why do you want to switch recruiting stations anyway?

Well I did talk to him but he just said he wanted to leave that as a last resort, and do you happen to know if he got a sooner or later ship date?
..and I am asking because my mom is moving to MA and I dont think I am going to be able to afford an apt., because I'm not full time, and all of my family lives in Washington State.
