You should have received a paper saying you are a contract PFC, I was handed mine a couple months after I got mine and was given it in front of my whole RSS. I still have it, it's at home in the case it came in. Try to work on your pull ups and run, but theres not a lot of time to improve and PRP is Presidential guard, I have a friend from boot that was contracted that, got the clearence's but lost it for a page 11 because he was late for a formation. You need to have a spotless record for that because of how important of a job it is. And FNG is fu*king new guy.

Thezero,
Thank you for the advice and clarifying the term for me. That’s what concerns me about the contract Pfc. Several of my fellow Poolees and the Rss have contract Pfc, and have a case with a paper from it, but I have yet to receive this. And for the PRP, what do they do exactly? I’ve heard that there “an expensive doorman and just stand there to look pretty”. I’ve been seeking a second opinion on this?

I found this info on another site.
ITB - Infantry Training Battalion. - Camp Geiger - Presidential Guard
http://usmc.yuku.com/topic/9038/t/Pr...ial-Guard.html
Is this position a Duty or a specific MOS?
It is a duty assigned to some 03xx Marines who have also been to Security Forces school. Their duty is security forces for the White House and Camp David.
Will he still be required to attend his MOS school prior to reporting for this duty?
The Infantry Training Battalion (ITB) at the School of Infantry (SOI) is the MOS school for 03xx Marines. He will have to complete ITB first.
If he gets accepted for the duty, will there be more training?
He will have to attend Security Forces (SF) School in Chesapeake, VA. Presidential Guards are SF Marines who have been assigned to guard the White House and Camp David .
This is not the same as MSG is it?
Nope, not the same. Marine Security Guards provide security services to selected Department of State Foreign Service posts.
Is this guarnteed position as Presidential Guard or will he be put in whatever position they may need him in?
After ITB and SF school, if he passes all of the screening and is selected, he will report to Marine Barracks Washington DC, where he will probably be a normal security guard on base while the final phases of his security clearance are processed. If his security clearance does not go through (or any other reasons come up) then he will remain as a normal security guard and not be sent to Camp David. If the clearance does go through, then after about a year he will be sent to Camp David. That's what has happened in the past at least....things might have changed. They don't broadcast much information.
Can you refer me to a specific web site that I can get more information on this subject?
There really isn't one because they keep most of their operations pretty quiet!
*Edit: If another Marine has better info than what's on this site, please feel free to to make a post with corrections.*

Funny Al Gray Story [off topic]
This is off-topic for this thread, but your photo with General Al Gray prompted me to pass along a funny story (don't know if it's true or not) about him:
