Isn't it enough to just be a Marine. I have been off of active duty for awhile now, I served in combat, I received awards, both unit and individual and am very proud of it. Now that I am older and I meet a Marine on the street whether they are young or old I am proud to know them. And sure as **** the first question out of my mouth isn't what Medals were you awarded? If it comes up and they want to tell me then great. If not it doesn't matter. This ******* is a class "A" example of a 10%'er. For some of you younger Marines, a 10%'er is that mother ****er that seems to just **** up at every turn and does not give a **** about his fellow Marines or the Corp for that matter. Look around your unit, you know who they are. It wasn't until I got to Bat Recon that there seemed to be less of them. Don't worry my Brothers. There is a special place in hell for ****ers that disgrace our Uniform, our Corp, our Creed and our Country.

No combat
I was in the Corps from 76 - 80. Nothing much going on at the time. (Iran Hostage towards the end of my time.) But I always take the time to greet a new Marine or an older gentleman wearing some indication of the Corp. Thanking them for their service.

Rapid promotions and hash marks, oh my!!
I'll say one thing for this poser, he promoted himself rather rapidly. In the initial photo taken in 2001, he's a GySgt with I believe 4 hash marks. Subsequent photos from 2006 and 2008 show him as a First Sgt with 6 hash marks. He also "retired" in that time frame. I wonder if he's now paying himself "retired pay" and TriCare benefits???
Sadly, when I read about this POS, the next article was about a real Marine from MA who was killed if Afghanistan
RIP Marine
Rot in jail poser
