Should i call the recruiter?

I turned 17 Monday. About a week before my birthday i requested more information on the marines website. I got a letter in the mail from the recruiter the day before my birthday, it said that he has a package with more information that he will send me once i turn 17.

I have been getting numerous calls from the Army, but nothing from the Marines. I don't want to come across being lazy. I am just not sure if i should wait for more information to come in the mail before i call?

And i am also not sure what to say?

I just want to make a good first impression.

And yes, just march right on in there. You can call ahead to give him a heads up if you want, but showing the initiative and showing up will make a greater impact.
