When they replaced the 'steel pot' with the kevlar. Still had them in '82 but were gone, I believe, by 1986 or possibly earlier.

Thanks about the Chrome domes. In that same documentary they talk about "Quebec company". Did they add another company to 3rd Bn? I know only I and H companies.

I could be wrong, but I think H is 2nd now. I, K, L, M (and Q on at least one coast? I think I remember someone in my unit telling me they were the first Quebec in a while) are 3rd.
