    Does anybody know of a way that I can request a small sample of sand on the invasion beach?

    Talk to someone stationed in Okinawa, they always do trips every year to that place and Marines come back with water bottles full of it.

    Only one problem with that. I been out since 92 and I don't know anybody on the rock anymore,but thanks anyway. It gives me a starting point.
