Rest in peace Marine.
My heart and prayers go out to the family and I'm
sorry that I never knew this Marine. My loss. Our loss.

Your pain is over my friend. You were probably one of the most respected members of this site and your advocation on the part of our poolees who went to be recruits and eventually Marines will never been forgotten by those young men and women (or us older Jarheads).
Rest in well deserved peace, Marine. New Corporal of the Guard reporting aboard.
Semper Fi to the end.

I am very sad to hear that Dave has died, but also glad that he's in pain no more. I hope he pulls good duty in heaven (maybe the CO's driver).
