Hey I wasnt sure where to post this so, i just took a gander at it.. My spouse is in FAST at Camp Allen here in norfolk.. He is a 0331.. I know what his MOS does what I'm trying to figure out is what does FAST exactly do? He keeps talkin about going to the Fleet and I understand some but not enough and I wanna know more bc I wanna know bout his job so I dont feel silly or out of it when he talks about work. I was in the army so I know the job of a gunner just not a gunner in FAST.. Thanks so much

The real Fleet Marine Force is at CLNC, Pendleton, Stumps, or out in Oki. The Swab Jockeys run Norfolk. He's got to be bored ****less.

Oh, you mean along the lines of the Marine Corps' never ending fascination with acronyms like: USMC, MCRD, BRASS, ITR/ITS/SOI, MEU, SMEAC, KOCOA, EAS etc etc etc...
