If you were kicked out of the army for being a CO, you have no chance of serving in my beloved Corps. Any RE-3 code means you can be allowed to serve, if the disqualifying reason is definitely resolved. In this case, you've done irreparable damage to your character. Being a CO is an act of will, not a psychiatric disorder. What psychiatrist, or any doctor for that matter, is going to give you a "clean bill of health". They can't predict whether or not you're gonna make the same mistake of turning your back against your own brothers-in-arm and your country. "A leopard can't change its spots". Quit bothering my recruiters, they can't take you even if they wanted to. You're not getting in my Corps if I have anything to do with it....and I do. Sorry bud, but you made your own bed, now lie in it.

This CO ****, WTF, is this for real again?
Personally, I ain't buying it at all.
Go eat a moonbeam doggy.
(You started off not being proud of your, ahem, army service, as you say you are ex-army. Ask one of the Marines on here if they are ex-Marines! How about you, Daniel, Ron, Rocky, Lisa, CD, Willie, Steve, John, you ExMarines? )

artwallis,no name,no profile other than being a CO.....
The Marines need MEN not CO's.......You want to be a CO,become a monk.........Nothing wrong with monks,but they're not Marines.......
I don't see the army dumping you for being a CO,when you could have been a Chaplin's assistant..........Amen ?
NO DEALS......................

I gotta launch a brown star cluster on this HS. There are those who would and do post BS. Some freak trying to pull our strings and see what reaction he (it) can provoke and raise our ire.

Ok, well. Thanks for the help.
Look forward to seeing all of you actives on the battlefield. Buy you a drink sometime.
As for the baddies jumpin' my S**t, be cool. I know that being a C.O. is B.S., but that was a lifetime ago. Some kids regret joining the military when they are older, other kids regret leaving when they grow up. Besides, I might give you a hand sometime, you never know.
Your recruiters were extremely excited by the higher education (of course) because it means I can start Lance CPL enlisted, and move on to officer very short after. I'm looking to go career after all. Of course, you shouldn't be an officer without combat experience...but that's just one man's opinion.
Yes, you can be ex-army. And there's nothing wrong with that, kiddo.
Cheers,
-Arthur

I Am A United States Marine
I am
A United States Marine.
My Tenets are Duty, Honor, and Commitment
in services to God, Country, and Corps.
No matter the Cost;
No matter the Sacrifice
Even to the last full measure;
I will do my Duty.
I will Honor the traditions of those Marines who have gone before me;
As they have passed to me so will I pass to those who follow,
The sword of Freedom, the banner of Courage,
the unblemished Honor of the Corps.
For services without Honor is not our tradition.
I will serve with Honor.
I will be, at all times, always faithful
To my Corps, my Division,
To my Regiment, my Company
To my Platoon, my squad,
To my Fire-team, and to these Tenets
I will be Committed.
I am a United States Marine
I am neither an Ex Marine nor a Former Marine
I am or I am not
For a Marine, there is no middle ground.
I am
A United States Marine.

Am I the only one who saw that he said he could be a contract Lcpl? I think the GySgt was right, this assclown clearly isn't what he claims to be...Correct me if I'm wrong but you could have 12 PHD's still wouldn't make you a contract Lcpl.
