What can I expect to be doing as a Combat Engineer?

Just picked out my top three MOS choices a few days ago.

    My picks were:

    1. Combat Engineer

    2. Small Arms Repair

    3. Field Radio Operator

The last two are pretty straightforward, but my question is what kinds of things could I expect to be doing as a Combat Engineer? I know what they say the job entails (construction, explosives, fortifications), but they aren't very specific.

I guess I should have been a little more specific. Out of all those duties, what can I REALISTICALLY expect to be doing day-to-day if I were to go to someplace like Afghanistan?
