Decisions
All,
(I apologize if this is not the correct sub-forum for posting this)
I am currently 19 years old, and I am attending my second year of college. I am in the NROTC program as a (college programmer) Coming into my second semester, I am most likely sure that I will not be able to make the program (scholarship programmer) and/or advance standing so I can continue the NROTC program. I am thinking about finishing college and applying to OCS through the OSO, but I have this little thing in the back of my mind that says I am not meant to lead. I would rather enlist and start from scratch and work my way up, but my father differs as he tells me to go straight to OCS and commission. I honestly fell that i would not be able to lead a bunch of Marines. I am having a hard time figuring out what path to take, so if anyone could point me to the right direction i would appreciate it.
