Officer shoulder ranks, but field color?

So I was at the NEX in Orlando the other day, and I noticed that underneath the shoulder officer ranks, they had the field colored ones too, and yes, they were the same exact size as the uniform counter-parts. This is making me wonder, why would they have field ranks of that size? Considering Marines wear the collar ones, and the Army has the patches, Navy would be the sewn on, and Air Force would have collar ranks (if they're ever in the field), too.

I wouldn't see how that would make sense in Orlando, lol, I could see it if Orlando was still a NAS, but it isn't anymore. They only sell mostly Army, some Navy and Marine Corps uniform items.

Next time I'm down there, I'm going to take a picture, maybe that will help give a clue.
