Hey fellow poolees i am so excited to leave, my original ship date was December 7th.
My recruiter and my Gunny gave me a phone call yesterday, they asked me if i wanted a 4000 dollar bonus, so i said ok and asked them what i needed to do to get the bonus, they said all i had to do was instead of leaving this sunday just wait one more week and leave on the 14th. Same contract 0300 UH Infantry with PFC. At first i told them no because i just wanted to leave already, and i thought about it and talked to my parents, so i i called my recruiter and took it. I was thinking to myself either way your going to have the opportunity to become a United States Marine.
So my new ship date is 20091214 and STILL MOTIVATED!
