No. When I got there in Sep 07, it was about 135 yen to the Dollar.

WHen I left a few months back, it was probably around 90 yen to the Dollar ON BASE. Off base, of course, they **** you, so you'll get about 80 yen to $1.00. Could be even worse now.

When I was there it was around 300 yen to a dollar, everything has gone to chit but that was many moons ago.

Maybe it's just me, but I wasn't impressed with the Aquarium. I guess I just don't like looking at fish. But yeah, most people liked it. American Village is overpriced food, and I really don't know what you shopped for. You can find much better places to eat out in the back alleys. The on base drivers do speak english, so don't let them screw you over by taking the long route on purpose.

Couldnt have put it much better. There was this little place right outside of Hansen my CO took us to that was amazing. I really wish I could remember it. All I know is it was right next to the little park thing.
