USMC Reserves
I am prior service Air Force(don't hold that against me). I was active duty for seven years, and have been out since 03. It was an honorable discharge. I really want to go into the reserves, but don't know if it is possible due to my age (32) and time out of the military. I'm also aware that I would have to go to bootcamp. The reason I'm asking here is that I did not want to waiste a recruiters time if I didn't need to.
Thanks for any advice,
James Jones

7 years active duty minus your current age of 32 gives you a composite age of 25, your good to go on that part. 28 is cuttoff for AD, and 29 is cuttoff for Reserves(Marines).

Thank you. I'm a civilian DOD cop for the Navy, thats why I was looking at the reserves. Once again, thanks for taking the time to respond

Going Marine Reserve
The ironic part of this is that you will have a much easier time getting into the Marine Reserves then a prior service Marine would! Good luck!
