Good Evening Dave.
Well, just got back from the vet.
When we lost Mr. Bumble McDuff a few weeks ago, (had to put him down do to kidney problems. He was about 15) the wife was very lost without him. He was one of the best lap cats ever.
Sooo.... I decided to rescue another from the cages...
Her name is Widget.
She's small, about 18 months old, mostly black with a lot of white.
She's into everything, but at night, she usually walks across my head (wakes me up!!) and then curls up between us on the comforter.
And she loves to curl up on the wifes lap and watch TV while she gets scratched and petted.
Ahhh.... the life of a lap cat!!!
OK Dave, you take it easy tonight and we'll see you in the AM.

It actually is in the a.m, Dave (0008). I guess I could say good morning but I won't say rise and shine just yet. Darn shoulder is giving me fits ( just had it operated on yesterday and I have to wear a sling for awhile) So, heck, I have the time...why not write Dave? I do hope that you aren't up at this hour unless you want to be. Be at peace with yourself and may Glod Bless you and all those who care for you. I'll catch again..when the sun comes up.

Morning Dave. Thought I could get some sleep tonight but looks like I've been a night owl so long that I couldn't go back to sleep. Stopped by to say hi and thinking about you all the time. It's one of those dark, dreary kinda days. Makes you just want to stay in bed and pull the covers back over your head.
They are supposed to start the world series tonight in NY, but if this keeps up, well, maybe they should have put a dome over that $1.5 BILLION dollar stadium !!!

Ahh, the sun has risen and it is morning, Dave. It's bright down here in South Florida and, right now, warm. Can't do much today except what the doctor recommended.
Here's hoping that your day has a little warmth and sunshine. You may not be able to do much but doing something is better than not doing anything at all. Be at peace with yourself, Dave, and get as much rest as you can. Pass on my best to those who are taking care of you in thought and deed.
