    Congratulations to your son and your family! I have to second Bdchi1's eloquent post.

    Your words, "I can't get over the dread/fear/pride that I have for my son. I know that with him going in 03xx field that he will end up on the line somewhere and I worry about him," struck a chord within me because it brought back memories of when my son first told me he was going into the Navy ROTC to become a Marine, and now after he left not too long ago on his first deployment.
