Yeah get to E-6 and you'll get another set of dress blues for dinner wear and stuff. Dont remeber the exact name, look like the olden day's fancy stuff.

I talked with my recruiter about the MECEPS program:
- Get paid as an E-5
- School completely paid for, along with housing, food allowance
- You can get ANY 4 yr degree. (His friend got a degree in wine tasting and is now an officer)
- Has to have a Navy ROTC program
This plan all sounds great, but I'm gonna go with the flow and take things one step at a time. I still got to make it through boot first.

Ill let you know for sure after RT but as of right now i think being a Drill Instructor is probably one of the best jobs in the Corps. I mean it takes the best of the best to make and train Marines... think about that.

..and who doesn't like to yell and belittle another fellow human being? Hehe. In all seriousness, it sounds like it would be a billet I wouldn't mind attempting if given the chance, if I'm so gratefully allowed such a Marine Corps career. Like previously stated, you must always be squared away and never show ANY weakness to your recruits.

My Ultimate goal is to try and become a Helo Pilot.
Already have ~30 College credits.
Steps;
1. Boot Camp. Get my EGA.
2. Take online/night classes while enlisted to get closer to my Bachelors Degree.
3. Become an Officer and do my best to get a flight seat.

It is possible to be a DI then to become an officer, I spend a year in Marine ROTC, before I decided I wanted to be enlistedm and in my unit we had 2 MECEPs who were former DIs who were working being officers. I plan on trying to do the MECEP program if I decide to make the Marines my career.
