If you are in the IRR you are still in right? Would it be the same process to go active duty as if you were in a drilling status?
thanks

Yes technically your still in, remember you must keep your uniform items up to date, and maintain proper disapline, i.e. don't get fat. You can still get called back if SHTF, when the invasion after Sep 11th happped they called me up even though I was on terminal leave, they said "Stand by to stand by" I was was ready to go and hoping too. While on the IRR It is way easier to get back in. You can still drill at a local unit if they want you, but you will not get paid for it unless you re-up your contract to a reserve unit.
